The ‘Mini-Matsuri’ in Chatswood is here!

A celebration of Japanese culture, it is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese foods and activities. There will also be a variety of performances, ranging from traditional taiko drumming to anime singing and dancing, such as:

Come and try Takoyaki or Yakisoba – Japanese festival must-haves, and participate in the interactive workshops such as Calligraphy (shūji), Origami, Tea Ceremony (ocha) and Flower arrangement (ikebana).

For this one day, Chatswood will be transformed into a hub of Japanese culture and fun! Held in conjunction with the annual Matsuri-Japan Festival in Darling Harbour, come along and enjoy it with your friends and family!
